My approach to weddings
and more about me.

I’m a full time wedding photographer based in Auckland, New Zealand. I love traveling, gardening, creatures, decorating, observing, eating copious amounts of fruit, long summer evenings, cuddling my dogs, sorbet and tea. Mountains and oceans always transport me to a good place. I love new hobbies and skills and tend to fall hook, line and sinker into new interests. My latest obsession is indoor plants – nowadays my house more closely resembles a tropical jungle than a residential interior :) I also love dabbling in travel videography.

Besides photography, my other great love is a lovely, goofy, geeky, gorgeous long haired man called Constant. Together we eat far too much sushi and thrive on spontaneous adventures. (Shoutout to my liefie for my amazing site!) We’ve been together for 10 years, but got married in Thailand in 2015. Our closest friends & family flew over to celebrate with us, and we had the time of our lives.

I found a great love in wedding photography. A wedding is saturated with big emotions and epic, once-in-a-lifetime moments. What’s more, it usually takes place in great locations. Add some teary-eyed love to the mix and you have my idea of photography heaven. Since I picked up my camera in 2011, I’ve shot over 300 weddings in 5 countries.

My photographic style has been described as a blend of storytelling, art and romance. My version of wedding photography is possibly the most relaxed version out there. I don’t do forced poses or faked anythings. I encourage you to just be yourself, and the best photos naturally follow. I’m also the most non-threatening person behind a camera, possibly ever (my past clients will certainly back me up on this fact! ;)

If you’re all about the real, the festive and the love, then we’ll be a great match. I want to catch the in-between moments; the quirky, the genuine, the beautiful. Your story.
